In high school, I competed in gymnastics and was involved in martial arts. One
of my coaches was an avid triathlete and suggested that when I retired from
gymnastics, I shoud check out triathlons. Well, it is now my 4th year at Davis
and I'm finally doing it!
For the past 4 years, I've worked as a whitewater raft guide on Northern
California rivers. I love whitewater kayaking, backpacking, horseback riding,
and back country skiing. I also enjoy gardening and construction projects;
basically, I like doing projects where I can get dirty because I love the long
showers afterwards!
I live on campus in a student cooperative called The Domes, formally known as
Baggins End. If you don't know what or where The Domes are and are the least
bit curious, give me a call and/or stop by. I live in Dome 6 and visitors are
always welcome!
